Technologies of the Web 2.0 are changing the ways students connect, interact, and share their lives. Teachers must be proficient in online teaching and learning tools in order to improve their teaching and maximize learning opportunities of their students especially in higher education like medicine.
Fortunately, most of these tools are free and easy to use and can be mastered with little or no help. The key part is to be thinking about the pedagogical aspects and to start creating opportunities for students to use

- Create formative assessment with gamification
- Demonstrate how to use these modalities in their current curriculum
